VDS represents the US based Lo-Lift Pump Company who produce Propeller and Mixed Flow pumps for a variety of applications, including irrigation, flood control, water parks, and floating dry docks.  VDS has been delivering this brand of pump for over forty years to various institutions in Suriname for various applications predominantly the removal of heavy rains each year during the rainy seasons. The Surinamese government has purchased numerous large pumps over the past forty years with many still in operation today.

  • In 2007 VDS was awarded a European Union project for the delivery of 28 Deutz driven BBA (European Supplier) dewatering pumps for Stichting Behoud Bananen Sector (SBBS) a government run banana plantation with facilities in Paramaribo and Nickerie. This company produces bananas for export to Europe. This project was completed in 2008 and all pumps are currently in operation at both locations.
